See how it opensMost pieces run in six sizes from Small to 3X-Large. A few benches add X-Small. Which steps exist in a colour is printed on the page as a row of links, and each step is its own page with its own price. A missing step is a size not made in that colour, or out of stock in the current update.
If the piece goes over a sling, a brace, a dressing or a drain, take the size above the one you normally wear. A snap seam that has to stretch to close is a seam that will pop open when you turn over. Everything else in the range runs true to a relaxed fit, and your usual size is the right one.
| Bench | Usual size | One size up if |
|---|---|---|
| Post-surgery shirts | relaxed tee | a sling or a shoulder dressing goes underneath |
| Port and dialysis tops | sweatshirt size | a dressing or a drain sits under the top |
| Gowns | nightdress size | the gown must go over a dressing, check length first |
| Adaptive pants | sweatpants size | a brace or cast is on the leg, measure the thigh over it |
| Sweatpants and shorts | usual size | never, they are cut loose already |
| Polos | usual size | never |
Lay a piece you already own flat and measure it across the chest or the waist, then compare that number with the size chart at our retail partner for the piece you are considering. A photograph tells you nothing about your shoulders. Two numbers do.
How a given piece will sit over a specific brace or dressing. That depends on the brace, and the honest answer is the size-up rule above plus a measurement.
